The Thriftwood Camp was a massive success.
The weather was not great (lots of mud!) but it didn’t affect the activities that we did or the fun had by all. We had 13 Scouts, 19 Cubs attend for the whole weekend and then 5 Beavers on the Saturday for the day.
Five of our Explorers attended to assist with the camp and they were all an asset as they helped with all of the activities.
We did a variety of activities including rifles, inflata Bull, cresta run, pedal cars, 3D maze, water walkers and climbing, just to mention a few.
The help of the catering team that included Denise, Colin, Michael, Teresa and Sue was fantastic. They provided an excellent service to everyone and the food was brilliant.
