Dear Parent / Guardian,
DISTRICT CUB CAMP will take place at Hallowtree Friday 12th July to Sunday 12th July 2013. During the weekend there will be plenty of activities, events and entertainment for the Cubs.
The cost per Cub is £28 – This includes all food and activities for the whole weekend.
All Cubs should arrive in full uniform at Hallowtree for 6.45pm on Friday. Every Cub will need to bring a cake to camp that can be shared over the weekend. All Cubs will need to be dropped off and collected by their parents from Hallowtree. The camp will end at 3pm on Sunday.
District Camp is quite a hectic one for the leaders – we will be running a base throughout the weekend and our help is often needed for general activities on the camp. We would therefore be grateful of parental help in setting up the camp, making sandwiches and packing away afterwards. These are not difficult tasks, but do make a significant difference to the smooth running of the camp.
Finally, in order to assist with planning, the district has imposed a cut-off date of 17th June 2013. No applications will be accepted after this date.
